A Nebulous Endeavour

A Nebulous Endeavour is a quest for level 90 in Voidstorm, added in Midnight. It rewards 27,400 experience and money.

Description

With the Voidforge completed, I can now weave Nebulous Voidcores for you out of the power it accumulates. Of course, I'll need you to cover certain expenses.

You'll have to engage in a bit more delightful bloodshed to transmute them into weapons and armor. The most dangerous foes will require two. Each Nebulous Voidcore will capture a bit of your... victims' particular essence in order to become the sort of shiny knicknack I know you can't resist chasing after.

It's nebulous alright. Why is there no in-game explanation as to what you are supposed to do with this currency? I suppose they can't say in the game in so many words: "You get a bonus roll on loot when defeating a boss". But perhaps in the tooltip or something?

Anyone who was in charge of user experience for this whole voidcore mess should go back to school. No idea what to do with the currency because the game doesn't say how I "spend it". Decimus offered me 3 daily quests, I accepted the first one in exchange for veteran crests. Now I had to google what to do, how do I "spend it" and the two other quests disappeared. So I guess I now have a bonus roll for amazing veteran gear on my main and I can't get a better bonus roll anymore? Who knows, because I certainly don't since the game doesn't tell me.

edit: I got Hero gear for the bonus roll in m+.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
