FYI if someone else has been attacking the Guardians and they turn back to stone you will not be able to hit them. best to find your own guardians to kill. They come to life and then back to stone again. Easy enough to kill before they change again.

Has this been nerfed beyond recognition or was I just lucky? In the past some percentage of the statues come to life and attack you, often when fighting another one. You have to be on your toes. The entire time I was in the area, and completed the quest, not one statue ever animated.

Description

I've got much to do here, {name}. I could use your help. There's a place to the northwest. The pandaren here call it Mogujia. Something's causing the statues there to animate, and our pandaren friends here are pretty spooked about it. If they're not dealt with soon, we might have a serious problem. We just moved in. It's not like we can afford to fight a war with an army of statues right now.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
