If you dont see a GEAR icon, its glitched. /reload ui its an easy fix without having to log off game. I tried clicking several times and its not till I reloaded that was able to see the gear icon to right click. Hope this helps anyone that faces the same issue.

Description

Pools of the same murky substance that came out of Mei emerged in the lake recently. I will travel into the Mere with you. Point out the pools of corruption that you are ready for me to cleanse. You will need to deal with whatever comes out and protect me as I complete the ritual.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The RitualKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

From the moment I first rose from the river, I knew I was destined to be Waterspeaker. I was taught many rituals, and have performed all of them, save one. There was one, an extremely ancient one, that we were told to call upon if our people ever turned against us.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Fall of Shai HuKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

I can hear the voice of the Mere - it has been purified. But, this chapter in my people's history will never be closed - not until we defeat Shai Hu. He has retreated to the central island in the Mere, corrupting our holiest of sites. Beware - he is strong.
