What to do

StorylinePredator Reintroduction, step 2 of 3
Rewards31g 90s, 12,150 XP

Description

The orchid hydra's favorite food is the violet chloroceros--especially the buds on the bull's back. With the hydras gone for so long, the violet chloroceros grazed too much of the fauna. Soon, there will only be mud in that once lush and beautiful part of Harandar. I want to introduce my hydras to their primary source of food, and I would appreciate it if you could bring me four of those buds.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Drift Them AwayHarandar · Level 83-88

With the hydras hunted out of the area, the drifter population in the cascades to the west is on the rise. Egg sacks are making the water murky and undrinkable, and the drifters are becoming very territorial. We must ensure that the reintroduction of the hydras will succeed.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Re-Hydra-tedHarandar · Level 83-88

With the previous tasks done, it is time to reintroduce the budlings to the wilds. I have marked suitable locations to place the budlings. The little hydras will be an easy pick, so expect predators to attack you. I am sad to see them go. However, I know it is for the ecosystem's and their own good.
