A Hunter's Prey

A Hunter's Prey is a quest for level 83-88 in Harandar. It is step 4 of 4 in the Hunter's Rite storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Harandar at 70.5, 50.7. It rewards 15,200 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

The last trial stands before you. Together, you have forged a weapon that will fell any beast, but the weapon is nothing without the hunter.

Since you are not a Ka'dani, I present you with a difficult hunt. Ketan and you will hunt down and slay a prey known to all Har'athir hunters: the great Radooni. The beast ventured too close to Har'athir and should be a suitable hunt.

Return to me once your hunt is complete and Radooni's sap is on the spear.

It might go without saying, but make sure you talk to [npc=253443] before killing [npc=253400]. If you kill it without speaking to him, you won't receive credit for the quest and will have to wait for it to respawn.

A title of "Ka'dani" would have been a nice reward for this chain, seeing as Ketan gets his title of Ka'dani bestowed upon him and Akazi says

Your name, you are now one of the Ka'dani. May the goddess guide you through your future hunts.

Missed opportunity a bit here!

Forging the Ka'dani weapon is a crucial moment in the trial. We will have to follow Al'yaat's instructions. Once Al'yaat forges the weapon, you will bring it to Elder Akazi. There will be a short ceremony where he will hand me the weapon.
