It seems to be very old, but is nearly pristine in form.
The tol'vir of Uldum may know more about the sudden appearance of the Amathet.>

You must speak to Zidormi at 56 35 and ask to go Cataclysm Era Uldum to turn this in.
Drops from Tol'vir invasions. I killed tol'vir rares outside and in a portal and also looted tol'vir chests (just a speculation, but maybe it matters)
I got [item=163481] after 779 island expeditions.
Primary Enemies/Island Theme Creatures :
- The island was Skittering Hollow with Troggs as the Primary Enemies/Island Theme Creatures.
- So Tol'vir were not the Primary Enemies/Island Theme Creatures.
Event Creatures :
- Pirates were the Invasion Event Creatures.
- Tol'vir were not the Invasion Event Creatures.
Other informations :
- There was a random Tol'vir group enemy, with [npc=138630] as a rare.
- I did not killed any of them, but someone else did.
- I did not loot the chest, but someone else did.
- I had previously killed [npc=138630] and the [item=163481] did not drop.
- They were not in a portal.

The blood of Azeroth crystalizes into chunks of Azerite, an extremely potent and powerful material.
