Just use the apple icon to feed the Direhorn, & it will follow you back to it's pen.
Sometimes when you use the icon to feed it, it will also spawn some low level trash to clear.
Apparently it can spawn in other locations, but each time I have done it, it has been in the same location as stated :)

Found mine at /way 65 40.9.
She does show up on the minimap at all zoom levels with a gold quest objective dot when I got closer (65.6 39.9 is when it showed up for me).
not always in same place, 2nd time I got this quests she was down the hill. so make sure you check the entire area marked on map before panicing

You have done an adequate job keeping de little one fed, but sometimes they just want something else. I did not see where de hatchling went, but you should start where de grass is real green. You will likely find her eating it. If you have trouble bringing her home, you might try a bribe.
