In The Flesh

In The Flesh is a quest for level 10-54 in Maldraxxus. It is step 14 of 15 in the House of Constructs storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Maldraxxus at 37.6, 29.1. It rewards 7,350 experience and money.

Description

The souls of the fallen kyrian... I can sense their pain and confusion. They yet exist within the construct!

Please, we must not destroy it. Doing so would consign the souls within it--the souls of my brethren--to oblivion.

Perhaps... perhaps they can aid us in escaping to freedom. I will soothe the souls within the construct while you direct its actions.

If you can't 'escape the house of constructs' I had to hop out of the construct, go back and get in again, and walk out down the middle of the main path. If you don't autodismount before you reach the bottom of the steps you may need to do that.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Two of Them, Two of UsMaldraxxus · Level 10-54

A construct made entirely of kyrian flesh... This betrays everything Maldraxxus stands for! We are meant to defend the Shadowlands and all within it, not slaughter and exploit them! Come, <name>! We end this now!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Front and CenterMaldraxxus · Level 10-54

The runes on that blade... they are the same as the ones etched on the door to the Seat of the Primus. And one of them just began to glow... Is this what I think it is, <name>? Do you have the means to unseal the Seat? If so, then perhaps Vyraz's gambit was not for nothing.
