If you happen to click on another flight master and request to 'return to Maldraxxus', it does not trigger quest completion. You need to hearth back to Oribos and speak specifically to [npc=175134] to trigger quest completion and be able to start the Maldraxxus quest line.

Waiting to see if relogging will change anything, but as soon as I turned in A Land of Strife the NPC [npc=171338] vanishes before I can accept If You Want Peace.... I have traveled out of Oribos, back again, as well as changed floors and even though the quest "!" appears on my world map, the NPC is not found (even in the original location from the previous quest).
- Just as an update, relogging and pretty much everything described below (including going to Maldraxxus, Stormwind, and Bastion) changes nothing. I am really glad the quest appeared for about half a second or else I would really be confused on where to go and what to do from there.

What to do
Description
Maldraxxus is a land which revels in strife and conflict. But they should also be bound by honor. If their honor has been tossed aside, then they may move their forces beyond just Bastion. Take care, danger lies beyond that gate. It is a realm of heroes as well as a realm of villains.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Land of Strife
It is imperative that you identify the cause of the attack on Bastion. We will require your aid to open the gateway. Once the focus is sufficiently powered, we will call upon the gate to Maldraxxus and direct it into position. From there, the fate of this war must rest upon your shoulders.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- To Die By the Sword
What's this? You fly no colors! Where is the pride in your house, gladiator? Bah, this drought has left us with slim pickings indeed, if this is the best Maldraxxus can muster! I remember the old days. The strongest souls arriving, then being divided among the five houses... No matter.
