To expand on what Rohenna said, you only need to start the fight with [npc=169901]; you don’t need to defeat him. Once the fight has begun, lead him to [npc=162801] who will then engage the Baron. Every so often [npc=169901] will summon allies to join the fight — you should fight those lesser enemies rather than the boss. After a sufficient amount of time a dragon will come to fly you out of there and complete the quest.

Vyraz is the one who trapped me within the Maw. He has long been in league with the House of Rituals and the House of Constructs. No doubt he intended to trap you within that hellish place as well. It is time he be brought to justice for his treason. Stand with me, and we will face him as one.
