Burn Before Reading (ID 61180)

Burn Before Reading is a quest for level 60 in Maldraxxus. It is step 8 of 21 in the A Golden Dawn storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Maldraxxus at 35.2, 26.9. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The scroll you recovered details all manner of horrific ways to 'integrate' fallen kyrian into Gharmal's constructs.

It is also incomplete. There must be more of these among Stitchflesh's remaining followers.

I saw a number of surgeons and their lackeys retreat into the Hall of Chains just ahead as we arrived. I suspect they hold more of these scrolls.

We must ensure they are never read again.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • DescendedMaldraxxus · Level 60

Though we have stopped the creation of more juggernauts, one of their most vile creations yet draws breath. It was born of one of the most pained souls they took from my temple in Bastion. As I flew above their ranks I could hear their surgeons chanting its name above the din of combat--Woeblade.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • An Early EndMaldraxxus · Level 60

Within the Hall of Chains lie more constructs that are nearly complete. As we speak, the Margrave's forces work fervently to graft the last pieces of flesh to their horrific visages.
