Juicing Up

Juicing Up is a quest for level 10-55 in Maldraxxus. It is step 6 of 17 in the Theater of Pain storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Maldraxxus at 53.7, 47.9. It rewards 925 experience and money.

Description

I've conceived a task befitting of your "talents".

Have you heard of the House of Plague? Crafters of toxins and potions. They suffered a tragic accident--a true, true shame.

Herein lies the problem: I have long used the work of the plague devisers to bolster my arena performance. Without a potion of their creation, I'd find the fight unnecessarily taxing.

The brokers do have such potions, but they "do not like my face." Could you obtain such a potion for me?

On my first playthrough in Maldraxxus I completed this quest by going to the Brokers and just buying a potion.

However, when I then went on to do House of Plagues and ran into Plague Deviser Marileth, even though I had not spoken to him before he had a dialogue option for me to tell him "Your potion turned the Lich champion into a slime!" to which he responded "You asked me for a potion of ultimate power, what is more powerful than a slime? etc etc".

So I'm pretty sure if I had completed the Maldraxxus campaign before doing the Theater of Pain sideline, rather than just buying the potion from the Brokers it would have been resolved by asking Marileth for a potion.

Pretty neat for the quests to have different ways of completion depending on your story progression.
