6 Drums (if you're a drummer, this works out perfectly with 2 floor toms) but I digress...
Even though it shows a quest marker in each zone, some of mine were covered with World Quest Tracker icons. Since I did not know All of the areas by heart, I present you with the following: *I did em in this order so as to not get stuck without a HS.
Tradewinds Market is obvious to the most casual observer. Ya can't miss it.

Even without the waypoints, you should have no difficulty placing the drums.
Just look for a yellow "ghost" the size and shape of a 55-gallon drum

Description
There is one last thing we need to do. These drums, while powerful, are practically useless here in town. If you want to get the most benefit from them, you'll need to spread them out. I'd suggest one for each territory here and in Zandalar, to help you when you are on a quest and to keep you at your strongest when you're behind enemy lines. Look for someplace centralized in each territory to place drums. Once you return, I'll show you how to make the mallet needed to utilize the drums.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
