Everyone is talking about not being able to turn this in, I wasn't even able to obtain this quest in the first place. Map told me I could get it up against the wall after the first batch of quests, it was nowhere to be found. Even from the npc it's supposed to be from.

*edit*
Ended up figuring out that there is no quest to go kill him, you just have to attack and kill him yourself and he will drop his head which starts the quest.

I was confused on this one... I was looking for an NPC up by the wall. Korok is an elite Ettin roaming around south of the wall in the Northern Headlands. Killing him drops the quest (you pick up his head). Thank you, Asubatsu.

There is currently a bug on patch 4.03a live that can prevent handing this quest in as described on the text.

If you start the quest after Forsaken Commander Onslaught has been killed, then you won't be able to hand it in at the Forsaken Forward Command in Gilneas.

You can however take it back to High Warlord Cromush in Silverpine and hand it in to him there. That is how i managed to get it completed at a later phase of the story.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The F.C.D.Ruins of Gilneas · Level 5-30

Communications are down with all of our frontline outposts, <name>. As of right now I don't have a damn clue as to the status of our troops in Gilneas. We need to re-establish communications. I need you to head west into the headlands and find our outpost on the coast.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Break in Communications: Dreadwatch OutpostRuins of Gilneas · Level 5-30

I'm not gonna lie to you, <name>. What I'm about to ask you to do is suicide. Chance of failure is about 95%. All communication from Dreadwatch Outpost has been severed. With the worgen constantly rushing us we have no means by which to get to Dreadwatch to check on our soldiers.
