I've said it before, I'll say it again, Blizzard programmers do NOT think things all the way through. That spinning attack he does can kick you out of the "fight zone" and he becomes immune as he runs back to his sleeping spot. Ok, if *I* pull him too far, run away whatever, yes, he should lose interest and go back. BUT if he's pushing me back, why the heck does he lose interest and leave the fight? I'm not even upset they put him in the middle of a bunch of mobs that will aggro on you when he pushes you into them. Oh well. But he should NOT be able to end the darn fight. Especially when I'm at 100% health and he's at 20% health! That's just cowardice. He's NOT that tough, beyond the spinning kick that's hard to avoid. He only has 74k health (at my 111 level anyway). Very do-able solo. Might be why I got him down to 20% health to my 100% health before he chickened out and ran home to mommy.
Yeah, I'm rambling, and upset. He did this three times in a row to me. Roughly the same scenario, him low health, me full health (Discipline Priest) and he turns, tucks tail and runs. Coward!
On a serious note, I think this guy is solo able, but, because of this "bug (for lack of a better term for the issue) have at least two people, on either side of him so that he can't push you both out of the fight area.
Good luck.
Edit: The sad thing is, the loot off of these "rare" mobs isn't anything to write home about in the first place. So, to go through this kind of aggravation... All I'm saying is he should be giving a LOT more gold and war resources or azerite or whatever than he is.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
