TheWoWDBPick up a [object=280978] in front of the fountain at the north end of the town square, use the [spell=313232] extra action button and target some flames. It's just like the Headless Horseman thing. There's no visible counter, but once you've put out maybe a dozen fires you'll get gredit.

Anyone have any info on this quest? Is it bugged? I did the quest, along with a few other players, the City was extinguished but never got a message indicating I had gotten credit. The quest Icon on the mini-map disappeared as well. After watching Spider2's video, I re-did the quest solo, put out 13 flames, the City was extinguished again, but I still did not get credit.
I put in a ticket. The first GM gave me a BS answer about it being bugged. No posts here, Google Search found no posts so . . .
2nd GM was spot on. Stated that my Account showed it was completed so the issue was most likely with my interface.SO if you do the quest but it doesn't show you got credit, put in a ticket and ask GM to confirm it was completed.
There was no countdown that I could see, but things worked right today and when I was done I had an alert and the icon went away. Same as putting out the fires for the horseman.
