There is a slightly updated version of this quest introduced in 2024. Now, instead of receiving a Practice Torches item, you are placed into a vehicle-like state and can throw torches by pressing 1 on your new action bar.
The Torch Toss ability has no cooldown and you can spam it several times on the same brazier! You can now complete this quest in about 10sec.
