TheWoWDBIt was bugged today but...leave the area, and go to another zone. Come back to where the world boss is, and it will complete.
I went north, fished for a bit, came back and when I flew near the boss, it completed.

First time i killed it and EVERYONE in the group got 1 trash gray item worth 1 gold and 2 wethered harbinger crests. ZERO gear, or mats or recipes or whaever. Dont know but... why bother with crap like this?
If the weekly WQ is stuck for you on 1/1 after killing him, leave the area and come back near him and it will auto-complete. You may need to leave Azj-Kahet.
What worked for me is TP-ing to Dornogal and going back to WQ.
