Gathering Intel

Gathering Intel is a quest for level 80 in Azj-Kahet. It is step 1 of 10 in the News from Below storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azj-Kahet at 55.7, 43.8. It rewards 1,450 experience and money.

Description

The Widow Arak'nai sent word via one of those "weave-rats" of hers. She has a lead that may be relevant to our cause, and has invited us to investigate. All the training in the world is useless without knowledge of our enemy.

My own reconnaissance efforts in Azj-Kahet were met with... mixed results, as you may recall. I admit I am not keen on venturing down there again so soon. Fortunately, reinforcements have arrived with a capable spymaster.

Unfortunately, she is... well. You'll see.

I am here but can't find the turn-in.

The spider hanging above is where you hand in.

He has the next quest too, so keep him in mind. Yes the quest markers for the spider are out of sight which is an annoying design at best IMHO.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

I have eyes in every crevice of the city save for one that has... eluded me. The Transformatory is the grounds of Ansurek's most precocious minions and treasured pets. It is where the Ascension process was developed. I've only gotten my claws on it recently, thanks to dear Y'tekhi.
