Preparing for the Worst

If there are a lot of people collecting baskets by the main camp area near Utaik, it might be worth a little trek down to 73.4, 51.9. There is a small camp with about 4 or 5 basket spawns, and when I went there, they re-spawned very quickly.

For those without coordinates, just go east, past the fighting tuskarr and raiders, and collect baskets while you go. You'll cross over some water and ice floes as you go. It's probably... smack dab between Kaskala and Unu'pe.

While this is a ridiculously easy daily for pretty much anyone, druids should note that the containers may be looted while in Flight Form / Swift Flight Form without aggroing any of the nearby mobs, allowing you to finish the quest in minutes.

If you want Kalu'ak Exalted, I figure knowing all the tricks to making this daily go faster will help as you do this daily a lot. So, baskets are found:

• Near objects primarily. Buildings, Tuskar doodads, you just don't often find them out in the open.

• In the destroyed buildings, but you never have to go far enough into the buildings to dismount to see them. I never find it worth it to check the sunken building in Kaskala.

• Around the large carcass to the south of the Kaskala

• At the small outpost to the east of the villiage, but NOT between Kaskala and that outpost
•

• NOT on the island in the middle of the bay

• Occasionally in the water close to shore and the surface, Kaskala-side, visible from land

• Next to the fishing poles stuck in the ice

• NOT often near where Tuskarr and the raiders fight, just where the raiders alone are.

I personally start my hunt in the main villiage, go to the center of town, look inside the buildings, circle the outside of town, and head south to the carcass (on the way there I hop to each fishing pole in the ice and look, on the way back I hug the shore to look for baskets in the water).
