If you are like me, there was a second part after destroying the totems. I went back to questgiver down the road and saw nothing.
I decided to click on him and below the quest was a question for him. I clicked it. A fireball appeared and shot down further down the road.
The questgiver changed to show question mark above him. easy peasy.

What to do
Description
I hate this place! I just want to go home, but I can't because that oaf, Shoak, is missing. Listen, {race}t, I'll make it worth your while if you help me find that dunce. I've got a way to find Shoak, but of COURSE these stupid totems are blocking my magic! Why wouldn't they? Take this scroll and use its magic to burn these totems. I'm going to look around to see if that bonehead is just sleeping somewhere.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

- Just Say No to Cannibalism
Of course the Natha'vor trolls have Shoak! Why would it be easy? I'm sick and tired of running from these trolls. That's why you're going in to end this. The Natha'vor trolls have three powerful troll witch doctors called "corpse mongers". Take them out and you'll send the tribe into disarray.
