Proclamation Investigation

Proclamation Investigation is an Alliance-only quest for level 30-60 in Stormsong Valley. It is step 11 of 43 in the A House in Peril storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Stormsong Valley at 63.3, 65.0. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

My lord seldom leaves our holdings along the northern coast, and visitors are expressly forbidden. For most, tidesages like myself are their only connection to the house proper.

Lord Stormsong usually delivers orders through proclamations posted throughout the valley. None have reached Brennadam, but if there are any posted here we may be able to find some answers.

This area is a short jaunt down the road from Brennadam, you ride here with the questgiver just before he offers this quest. How have they not reached Brennadam but they have reached here? How did no one in Brennadam know what was going on here? Does no one in Brennadam take walks?

  2. Children of the sea, today is the dawn of a new age for us all.
House Stormsong must take control of this shattered kingdom and restore it to glory!

  4. No more will we work our fields and build our ships for the haughty Boralus elite to give nothing in return.
We must work as one and muster our strength. Kul Tiras will forever belong to its people!

  6. Our mighty tidesages shall guide us all to victory with the very power of the sea itself!
Together, we shall return to the tides. Together, we shall be powerful once again!

A rich lord ranting against the "haughty [capital] elite" and claiming to be for the people, promising to "restore glory" and making the nation "powerful again". Gee, if that was actually a ruse and (spoiler) Lord Stormsong was actually planning to sell out his people to a hostile foreign power, that would definitely not be an analogy to any real-life ruler.
