If you are looking to get the Iron Starlette, this quest is still available, for Alliance, find Vindicator Maraad in the Blasted Lands and do all of the quests he offers as well as those offered by anyone around him. I found that unless you do the quests that are related the next step in the line doesn't open up.
i do have to say, to start this questline you cant have the quest that sends you to archmage kadgar. you can just abandon that and then talk to maraad to start it.
