If you are low level Horde trying to complete this you can pretty much forget this Elder unless you have friends with you or some type of immunity (bubble etc); there's a Stormwind City Guard parked very close that will use a ranged attack and one shot you. I gave up on my 55ish toon after about 10 tries.
