Tails Up

I have to say this is maybe the most awesome quest ever, or the most disturbing quest ever.

So, in summary...

You talk to the Chronicler and he, as shown, informs you that he needs females.

So you take his blowgun and go find a bear or kitty. Foooot! Dart tranq of doom...

At this point, the kitty or bear will lie down placidly and become ... well... not talkative, but communicative at least.

So you "Talk" to them, peacefully tranquilized, and proceed to lift their tail to find out they are female. You only need to DISCOVER three females, you don't need to actually take them back. Remember this fact though...

Now, I'm not really sure precisely what happens at that point. Unfortunately, the precept is disturbing because it speaks for itself.

If it's a male, apparently it really objects to whatever you do while under his tail because he immediately becomes angry and attacks you. Females on the other hand apparently LIKE what you do so much that they become a friendly "Female" version of the creature that follows you around for five minutes. That's it though. Not a companion, not a guardian, not a minion...

Remember how you just need to discover the females? You don't need to lead them back. There is no real reason for them to be following you... Unless they just really like you.

Scary, innit?
