My strategy was to Insult him and then run back to where u picked up the quests as the quests suggests the NPCs there will help fight him and do a great job of holding agro atleast they did for mep.s. hope this helps

Description
The vrykuls in Baleheim is completely defeated, no doubt about it. But still their leader stays in town and won't give up. Gorth sends Lydell and his assassins to make good ambush to the northwest. You talk to Lydell and figure out how to get Vrykul chieftain to come out. Then you kill him. You kill him real good.

The vrykul are being clever about this. Fortunately I've a trick up my sleeve. This leader of theirs, Bjorn, is a real hothead. We've pieced together enough of their language to fashion what we think is a good insult. Something involving his mother and large barnyard animals... we're not quite sure.
