Test at Sea

Description

We've just received word of reinforcements coming to the aid of the Alliance forces. Their timing couldn't be better!

We're in sore need of test subjects and these North Fleet reservists will do nicely!

Take these plague vials with you and speak to Camille, the Bat Handler. Tell her you need to commandeer a riding bat for a special assignment for us.

Once you're at sea, drop the vials on the reinforcement fleet. I can't wait to see the results!

I tried to do this quest today but it did not work. I was able to fly out to the boats on a bat, but could not deploy the poison. I kept getting "Spell not learned"
I returned the bat and flew out on my own mount. I was able to land on the ships and deploy the poison, but they were deserted so it did not infect anyone!
This is after the recent patch.
Is anyone else having this problem?

As of august 7th 2016, patch 7.0.3, this quest is still bugged.

you still receive the poison
and you still can fly out there on a bat
but there are no targets to hit, manually flying out to the fleet doesn't work as there is still no one there patch is in 2 days so we'll see if they fix it.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Spiking the MixHowling Fjord · Level 10-30

I've a feeling the long trip across the sea is affecting the effectiveness of our plague. What is needed is a potent toxin to boost the potency of the strain. The crabs near this beach are a distant relative of the much smaller brown-shelled tidecrawler.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • New AgamandHowling Fjord · Level 10-30

I'm afraid our equipment isn't exactly the best here at Vengeance Landing. After all it's a military controlled outpost. I will need you to take a sample of this strain to Chief Plaguebringer Harris in New Agamand, follow the road beyond Baleheim south and then west.
