TheWoWDBBest way i've found on some of my undergeared alts, is when he starts with shadow barrage, i jump down onto the ramp, just far enough down that they can't hit me, then running back up when it ends.

the instructions for this are real misleading, it's really just about killing all the apprentices.
Had trouble at first with Lim-yo's Shadow Barrage. What I finally did was right after He teleports, head to the side of the room opposite the portal, that gives more time to dodge the barrage. Had to do this twice before finishing him off.

The barrier shielding the tower can only be opened by activating the imbued gems in the correct order. The order is only known to Xylem and his inner circle of apprentices. No others have yet been able to decipher the code, and mistakes are met with deadly consequences.
