Quest Log

The Archive

The Archive is a quest for level 70-73 in Isle of Dorn. It is step 2 of 13 in the Earthen Fissures storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Isle of Dorn at 44.6, 47.0. It rewards 4,750 experience and money.

Description

The memory gem you recovered is what its name suggests. It contains an earthen's memories, directives, and a hard coding of our Edicts.

This building, the Archive, is the nexus of our civilization. Here, memories are cycled, catalogued, and stored at the end of an earthen's scheduled rotation.

With the codex I have invented, we can access one or two memories from a memory gem. Take it, and read the memory gem you found.

I can't even see the quest, the NPC that's supposed to give the quest does not have a quest to give, I have tried reloading UI I have tried logging in and out and still not working. And I haven't completed the quest before either. Is this a bug or is there any other solution to my little problem?

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • HypocenterIsle of Dorn · Level 70-73

I have failed my people. The Coreway is impassible. Dornogal's lifeline to the Ringing Deeps has been severed as has the path beyond. The nerubians will get their comeuppance. It is my edict as it is my will. I will ascertain if the Councilward yet functions and bring him to the Archive.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Stones of DornogalIsle of Dorn · Level 70-73

I am Merrix, Councilward of Dornogal. I appreciate your aid--especially in light of the fraught nature of your arrival. You must forgive Stormward Baelgrim. Being suspicious is part of his directive. A formal discussion of our situation is warranted.
