Runaway Shredder!

Runaway Shredder! is a Horde-only quest for level 5-30 in Azshara. It is step 1 of 88 in the Azshara storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azshara at 27.0, 77.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

I've been trying to impress our new Horde allies with our legendary goblin efficiency, but in hindsight automating the shredders was a bad idea. Now they're mindless killing machines, rampaging over the countryside. Don't get me wrong - that kind of thing has its place - but for the time being I need a brave <class> to help me get these things under control.

It's easy. Automated shredders, like all machines, must first be beaten into submission. Afterwards, seize the controls and I'll radio you instructions.

Tell me just something. I remember when the BC came out and people were able to complete the quests from the Blood Elves and Draenei scattered around the world at 2.0 but before the xpac actually came. Since Azshara will still be on the non-expansion world, will 80s be able to access these quests to get rep?

Now that you've got that thing under control, let's gather up the lumber I was supposed to be collecting. Otherwise these orcs are going to build a catapult out of ME! Fresh lumber should be stockpiled all around the area. Use the shredder to collect all you can.
