The Arcanic Oubliette

The Arcanic Oubliette is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-35 in Krasarang Wilds. It is step 8 of 59 in the Krasarang Wilds storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Krasarang Wilds at 67.5, 32.6. It rewards 4,800 experience and money.

Description

An Alliance member? Here? Elune be praised.

My team has encountered a snag. We opened a portal to this land using some ancient scrolls we had found that predated Azshara's rule.

Unfortunately, the coordinates provided on the tablets were warded and the portal that meant to take us to our destination landed us in this oubliette.

We have been trapped here for days, and it is slowly leaching our energies to power itself.

Can you find the nearby shackles that bind the oubliette and disable them?

Simple quest ! 1st--don't try to enter sphere. It'll just kick you out. 2nd--as you face the sphere, look to your left, and you'll see a small glowing shard just outside of sphere. Clicking will kill it. 3rd-- go back to your right til you see another small red shard. Kill it. 4th--go left around the big tree and you'll hit the 3rd and last shard. When you click on it the sphere will disappear, and you can enter the area and collect your reward.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

I wonder if I could bother you for another task. My daughter, the good Sentinel Commander Lyalia here, refuses to let me go into the field. I have spent everyday in that oubliette staring at the ruins to our north, itching to investigate.
