Given its proximity to Daggermaw Ravine (BC's Daggermaw Canyon) and all of the gronn outside, I can't help but wonder if the cave in this quest is meant to be Gruul's Lair.
OK, this quest was kicking my furry butt from here to kingdom come.
Then I read a post by Urgentdk on the EU battle.net forums.
"You just need to let the NPCs do their job and force Hatock to step down from the monster (for about a minute just don't attacks the mob at all until Hatock is down on the ground). Then you kill Hatock, and then the monster.
Phew..."This finally worked! Hatock jumps down after a minute, and then you open up a can of whoop-ass on him, kill him (which stops his 10k per hit throws) then just carefully kill the gronn.
Yay!

What to do
Description
There is Hatock, last and eldest son of the Iron Wolf. One of the greatest hunters the Thunderlord have ever fielded. He was there when his father murdered my father and left me for dead. When I am done with him he will regret not finishing the job.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

My father is avenged. The sons of the Iron Wolf are all slain. Go to the garrison your people are constructing in the south. There, herald my return to my laggard brother. The time has come for the "chieftain" to be reminded of what it means to be a Frostwolf.
