Good to have you with us, <class>. If you're joining the fight, I need more men out up at the Golden Stair to clear out the mogu setting up base there.
Can I count on you?

As of today (patch 5.1), the quest requires to kill only 8 Shao-Tien mogu, down from 12.
Yeah, thank god! Hate this boring quest, now it atleast goes a bit faster.
This quest is guaranteed to be offered in the daily batch of four Golden Stair quests (the other three quests are selected randomly).
It is usually best to do this one last, as some of the other quests offered (rescuing torture victims or stopping the Shao-Tien Behemoth ritual) also involve killing mogu, which counts towards this quest, and you might also pull some by accident while doing the others.
| Type | Reward | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | Lesser Charm of Good Fortune | 2 |
| Experience | XP | 4,800 |
| Money | Gold | 13g 74s |
| Reputation | Golden Lotus | +100 |
This mysterious society of Pandaren intend to solve the Mogu problem once and for all.
Reputation group: Mists of Pandaria.
Other quests in Vale of Eternal Blossoms that reward Golden Lotus reputation: Sprite Plight (+100), Steer Clear of the Beer Here (+100), My Town, It's on Fire (+100), Meating Expectations (+100), Encroaching Storm (+100), Blooming Blossoms (+100).
Possession of the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune will result in great happiness and the eventual conversion into Warforged Seals, which allow players to risk a coin to receive a bonus reward from raid encounters.
