The Perfect Horns

The Perfect Horns is a quest for level 15-30 in Winterspring. It is step 43 of 54 in the Winterspring storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Winterspring at 59.3, 49.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,200 experience and money.

Description

I can't make a yeti without horns!

I've been looking for what seems like forever for the perfect set of horns... and no horn I find is good enough! But just the other day I saw the biggest yeti in Winterspring.

I named him Icewhomp. His horns are the ones I've been looking for! He lurks all the way in the back of the cave along the eastern ridge of Ice Thistle Hills.

Bring me his horns... but be sure to check on Echo Three along the way!

For the quest The Perfect Horns, don't waste your time specifically looking for Icewhomp. Instead, when you complete the quest Echo Three, you'll be teleported directly to him, and in an Empire Strikes Back reference, you'll find yourself hanging upside down from ice from the roof of the cave.

This is a blatant reference to star wars when luke gets suddenly knocked out by a yeti and wakes up hanging upside down with his legs stuck in ice. Then he kills the yeti.

Edit: Apparently its not the same yeti, the one he kills is the other yeti's mate

  • Are We There, Yeti?Winterspring · Level 15-30

My friends are always coming up with great ideas. I've never felt like I could match them... until today! I just drew up the plans for something great! If you promise not to tell, I'll let you in on the secret... I'm going to make a mechanical yeti!

After this quest

  • Echo ThreeWinterspring · Level 15-30

A lot of goblins have been going missing out there in Ice Thistle Hills. I was almost one of them! I had the idea to set up a sensor to tell us when the yeti were getting close to Everlook. Of course, it's not working either. There's yeti all over the hills and I haven't heard a peep from it.
