I started this quest from a clickable spider egg on the ground at 67.16, 21.87 in Hallowfall.
All it did was send me to Widow Arak'nai for a 2g 34s reward.
I was not able to click the egg on my main which has completed the AK campaign quests however I was able to get it on an alt that hasn't been to AK content yet.
