TheWoWDBIt is possible to not get credit for completion after you defeat the encounter. It was probably a random fluke bug, but I don't remember if I hit Azshara at all during the encounter. I ended up having to run though the dungeon again to get credit and advance the quest chain.
To ensure you get credit, hit her once during the initial engagement before the adds awaken, and it should properly give you credit.

Basically we started with End Time first and then we moved on to Well Of Eternity as planned. But after we completed In Unending Numbers quest we made a newbie error of not going back to Nozdormu and headed straight for Azshara. Do not make this mistake, cause you will end up ending the azshara encounter and after the cinematic of the aspects wraps up with you being flown down to Illidan Stormrage, you will meet Nozdormu again and when you give in the quest to him, he is gonna ask you to go occupy Azshara's attention which of-course you wont be able to since the encounter is already gone. So be careful here.
Here, "Dispatch" is not being used as a verb. The title is a prepositional phrase where "of Queen Azshara" complements the noun "Dispatch" and is syntactically correct. To better understand this, try putting in the implied article: "(The) Dispatch of Queen Azshara"

Description
Queen Azshara and her royal guard lie ahead of us. We cannot afford the possibility of any interference with our plan. So we will take the fight to her, before she has a chance to meddle. It is quite unlikely that you will kill Queen Azshara today; very few coherent timelines exist along that branch. Consider it a victory if you are simply able to occupy her attention, however temporarily.
