TheWoWDBSquire Danny is on the absolute far west side of the tournament, at the back of the ring.
The Champion is much more difficult to beat then the previous Valiant opponents. While I could easily beat the Valiant's with 90% HP remaining, it took a couple of attempts to beat the Champion.
What worked for me was primarily staying in melee range. I'd go to minimum range for the shield breaker, then immediately back in to melee. The goal was to prevent the Champion from removing my shield charges. Spend too much time at range and he will shield break -> charge, and chances are if he pulls that of you will lose.
Once I could get him down to 1 shield charge I'd get at minimum distance to charge him, then melee, and rinse repeat until dead.

How to beat every mounted duel (against NPCs): 1) Before starting, stack your shield to 3 stacks. 2) When the fight begins, immediately move out to range while they opponent backs away from you. 3) Shield Breaker. 4) Charge immediately, being sure to hit 1 (Thrust, the melee attack off the GCD) as you pass through melee range on your target. 5) Immediately following Charge, add another stack of your Shield (as soon as the GCD for Charge finishes). 6) Repeat steps 3-5 as needed until your opponent is dust. You are nearly ready to compete in the grand melee. To prove yourself worthy of this honor, you must defeat a champion of the Argent Crusade. Go to the stables outside the pavilion, equip your lance, and mount up. Speak to Squire Danny at the Argent Valiants' Ring on the western edge of the grounds. The squire will call out your opponent when you're ready. After the battle is concluded, we will speak of the outcome.
