I remember going to see this at the movie theatre when it first came out. Still a great flick!

John J. Rambo ------------> Sylvester Stallone

Col. Samuel Trautman ------------> Richard Crenna

John J. Rambo is a former United States Special Forces soldier who fought in Vietnam and won the Congressional Medal of Honor, but his time in Vietnam still haunts him. He came to Hope, Washington to visit a friend who had unfortately died of cancer due to "Agent Orange" exposure. When he walked into town to simply get something to eat...he was guided out of town by the Sheriff William Teasel who insults Rambo and "Pushes him" to his breaking point.

Teasel arrests Rambo on a charge of "Vagrancy" and during his in-processing to the jail...Rambo flashes back to his tortured past in Vietnam. Rambo fights back, escapes and goes on a rampage destroying the town. The only hope the town and the Sheriff have of surviving Rambo's onslaught is the intervention of Rambo's commanding officer, Colonel Samuel Trautman.

This quest line is about the Vietnam war, if you follow it all the way through you will find that, the term "baby killers" were given to our men upon coming home from war, our soldiers were even spit upon. Also it's about our men we left behind MIA's, hope that helps

What to do

StorylineRedridge Mountains, step 7 of 31
Rewards525 XP

Description

They asked me to fight in those wars. I didn't ask them! I did what I had to do to win. So I end up getting captured by those filthy, crap-swilling, maggot orcs and for five long years they used me as a toilet. Finally I break out and head back to my hometown and what do I get? People spitting on me, protesting me, calling me a baby orc killer and all kinds of vile crap! No, I don't think I'll be helping you. You go back to Troteman and you tell him that this ain't my war.
