TheWoWDBI recommend picking up and using [item=185829] on each one of the needed mobs, especially if you're alone. The Trueheart Spear is picked up as an object stuck in the ground all around the assault area. You can also find one or two in the area by the quest-givers.

Really hard quest to do if you are alone, I'm surprised it isn't marked as a group quest. The companion you recruite does very little damage and is almost useless. I thought the companion would be like a vehicle with attacks you can control like in other quests, but no. It's just an ordinary animal that scratches a little a those elite enemies.
I have not seen this quest for at least 8 months, trying to complete the kyrian assault achievement seems to be an rng nightmare for me, even veilstrider was easier
