TheWoWDBOne hidden gem is right outside the inn, a second is next to the auction house mailbox. The third is at 55.30, 64.15 (behind one of the bubble like things with plants in it by the bridge/bank mailbox area.
If you mount up while you have the idol active you will lose the buff, so be sure to reapply when landing.

Unsure if this is bugged or not currently for those that started this chain back in DF and now with TWW is doing the guest relations secrets. Because I was on the quest for the idol of ohn'ara back then in DF but quit before finishing it, now I got back and got the idol automatically from the TWW guest relations and then when I got back to the secrets of azeroth quest line from DF it wouldn't give me this follow-up "Using the Idol".
After you loot the 3x Gem return to [npc=206864] to complete the quest :)

Ah, the Idol of Ohn'ahra! Let's use it to find gems. I've hidden three gems nearby in Valdrakken, all outside. The idol will reveal the gems when you're near. Come back when you've tracked them down.
