Uther's Blessing

Uther's Blessing is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-30 in Western Plaguelands. It is step 10 of 63 in the Western Plaguelands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Western Plaguelands at 52.0, 82.8. It rewards 3,100 experience and money.

Description

These farmers from the south wish to take these farms, but I can't let them enter the plaguelands unprepared. Even with the Scourge gone, danger still looms in the form of the Forsaken. No, we must be ready to fight... and that includes our new visitors.

Before doing anything else, however, I would recommend that you travel to Uther's Tomb, to the east, and place this tribute before his statue to ask for his blessing. Speak with the priest that tends to the tomb when you are finished.

As of 8.0.1 and the time of this post, this quest appears to be bugged. With the changes to Uther's Tomb, the [item=61920] appears to not be working now. Hopefully this is fixed in time within one of the upcoming fixes in the next few days.

Because of the current bug, this prevents people from completing the Western Plaguelands story and achievements.

As of 7/20/2018, as reported below the tribute now works again and the questline can be completed.

Yep. As of the day of the Shattering going live, this quest is NOT POSSIBLE for anyone above level 47 (When the quest goes gray). If your here for the WPL Quest achievement, you're going to have to wait for this to be fixed. Just abandon it, and wait for the next patch to come back. After doing every other quest chain, I was sitting at 37/45 total quests done in WPL btw. EDIT: This has been broken since the beta. I warn you, don't waste your time. Come back later.
