Wildseed Rescue is a quest for level 10-55 in Ardenweald. It is step 4 of 7 in the Welcome to Ardenweald storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 67.7, 20.6. It rewards 9,350 experience and money.

Description

<Featherlight checks his notes.>

Let's see... There was a request for help regarding an imperiled wildseed and... something about an egg? The original note wasn't entirely clear, but the fae who sent it was... Ah! It was Korenth. Again.

Well, I suppose we'll find out what his trouble is soon enough!

I'll fly ahead and look for him. Stick to the path.

If you enter the cave and all you see is an egg after talking to Featherlight who turns you into a bird, drop the form, walk away a few paces and come back. You should see a bird inside that you have to interact with.

I spent way too long clicking interact buttons with the egg by itself and nothing happening.

To complete this quest you need to help Korenth recover the wildseed.
Follow the road until you run into Korenth and wait until you can talk with him.
Speak and choose you want to help, you will be transformed into Valeshrieker.
Proceed deeper in the cave where [npc=168475] is. Simply use both abilities to fill up the bar.
Unfortunately you'll have to kill [npc=168475] in the end. A bit sad quest imho.

    Let's make a deal, <name>. I'll seek out the Winter Queen on your behalf if you complete a few of my duties in my stead. The Queen isn't the only one who's been kept busy by the drought! First, you're going to help my fellow fae here with their spriggan problem. Boot their leader off that poor moth!
