Heroic: Jin'rokh the Breaker

Hello fellow raiders, here I will discuss the heroic version of Jin'rokh, the easiest heroic boss in Throne of Thunder (fittingly). I will assume you know how normal mode functions and base this off the difference between difficulties.

The first and largest change is the addition of [spell=138732]. This is cast about fifteen seconds after [spell=137180] occurs, on everyone in the raid minus the tanks. The debuff itself does nothing negative to your character, the critical aspect is removing it. When the debuff is removed via dispelling or letting its duration expire, your character will pulse significant nature damage in a small area around you. If this occurs while you have [spell=138002], you and everyone else still in the water puddle will die, period. The goal here is to have assigned groups run out briefly so they can be dispelled and let the last 5-10 people have their debuffs expire outside the puddle.

During the lightning storm transitions, the raid will take quite a bit more damage than in normal mode, but nothing extreme. However, while the storm is happening, pillars of lightning will spawn around the room, crashing down lightning strikes about two seconds after forming. These strikes inflict about 400k nature damage. In addition, each of these strikes will spawn four diffused lightning balls that arc out from where the strike occurred, getting hit by one inflicts about 200k nature damage. Suffice it to say, but there will be lightning balls everywhere during the storm. Unless you're pro at dodging and dpsing at the same time, your best bet for survival is to hide in one of the alcoves until the storm ends.

Regarding the DPS check, there barely is one. If your raid can kill normal Lei Shen, you can easily kill this boss before the fourth lightning storm. Surviving lightning storm and not ionization blasting the raid is 95% of the fight, DPS is 5% at most. Good luck!
