eatgrass on 2020/07/06 (Patch 8.3.0)
Does not work anymore as of Jul 2020, Anubisath will die on 2nd mob as they buffed her breath to kill anu in 3-4 hits with sandstorm up. Breath is non cd so even w deflection it will only prolong an extra turn.Hello!
For the achievement An Awfully Big Adventure you need to beat Wrathion with two pets, and I was happy with the pet I chose! Figured I would share with you.
First pet I used is Anubisath Idol.

Omg, I guess I was lucky ( sandstorm accuracy makes the strat a bit random), but I just soloed Wrathion with Anubisath Idol.
It didn't happen to me the first time I've tried it. I used Scourged Whelpling as a second pet with Dreadful Breath and call of Darkness. The first time, there were two pets left, so I used
Dreadful Breath

Modified some of the suggested teams for pets I have and came up with this to win:
Leopard Tree Frog (any frog should do) - Tongue Lash, Healing Wave, Swarm of Flies. Great against Cindy. Keep up flies, then tongue lash. Heal as needed.
Scourged Whelpling - Shadowflame, Call Darkness, and Dreadful Breath. Just use the last two spells and you'll make short work of Alex, and dent Dah'da's health nicely.
Anubisath Idol - Crush, Stoneskin, Deflection. You should only need to spam Crush to finish off Dah'da, but Deflection is there in case you need it for the bolt.
Fighting Wrathion can be used to heal your pet, as you won't get any damage until the second turn. You can use a pet with Wish (like Magic Lamp) or a pet with a Team Heal (like crickets) then abandon the fight. Repeat until pets are healed
That means it is better to leave him as last in the first part of the tournament. And, of course, you won't be able to use him as heal during the second part (though you can use Yu'la in the second part to heal your pets)
