Okayyy... well, she's not eating anybody. That's a good start.

She must want more kafa, but we gotta give her somethin' to do with all the extra energy...

I got it! The Burlap Trail! She can smash hozen out there all day!

<Burrberry turns to the massive beast.>

What do you think, pretty girl? Wanna smash hozens?!

I think so. Here, feed her my emergency flask of kafa. She likes you.

So basically this quest has become a nightmare after the scaling changes.
Blizz seems to keep forgetting to check on how this impacts certain quests,Burning Crusade mobs and some other zone quests seems to suffer the most.
I did this quest a long long time ago and it wasn't this bad.
But now all the Hozen hit poor Kota Kon like a truck.
All is not lost however.
If you don't feel like flying back to Kota Basecamp to pilot Kota Kon every time they waste her just take the quest slower than you usually would.
If you see a large group of Hozen, Leap Smash into the middle of them, making sure you don't miss any because it will kill them all if you aim right.
Use Hozen Snack when off cooldown if there is only 1 Hozen remaining and if you see two or more face them and use Headbutt as it has a rather nice AoE and should take care of them.
Hozen Shamans should be taken care of ASAP because they hit 5-6k per Lightning Bolt but the melee range Hozen aren't a problem unless you can't Headbutt them.

This will teach me for not doing all the quests in the zone back when MoP first came out and instead jumping from zone to zone as I out leveled the area.

Unfortunately, Blizzard was too stupid or lazy to scale this quest properly with the level scaling changes. The hozen deal MUCH more damage than they should, to the point that a group of them can kill the yeti in literal seconds. Prepare for a lot of flying back to the starting location to remount.

<The roar bellows out again, louder and more fierce than any of the yetis you've encountered so far. Again, a grummle voice replies...> Eep! Please, great Kota Kon, forgive grummle. Let me go, I'll bring lots of kafa right away! Promise! <The beast called Kota Kon answers with another meaty roar.>

I sent for reinforcements from the Shado-Pan Monastery, but have heard nothing back. We have already lost the town. A few lucky villagers may have survived, but we are pinned down here. We do not have time to entertain strangers. If you can fight, help my men defend this tower.
