If you've having a moment like I was, the actual crate of food is at the front RIGHT of the tent next to the Cartel Om Technician, if you're facing Hemet. Yes I came here because i felt so silly when i seen it there finally! /forehead slap
If you're stuck finding the meat and plants plate, I promise it is there. It's really hard to see on the ground, but hover over it for the text to show up. It's pretty small.
Since this is about food, shouldn't it be a cultured palate? =)

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

I suppose you will be heading back now? It has been a true joy to work with you, apprentice. I hope we will see each other soon. I'll have some new experiments for you to help me out with. Please do take care of the necrorays! I hope they enjoy their new home.

Seems like these rays slough off some gunk as they move. It's congealin' and makin' a mess! Ve'nari sent over this vacuum device to help out. Can you clean things up while yer out and about?
