I made the mistake of killing a couple of corrupted duskrats in the cave and got a poison or disease which killed me (hunter with 367 max health). It seems to drop just from the rats and really kicks away the health points, so if you're tempted to kill rats - resist the temptation.

Ok, this was a bit tricky for me, the only waterfall I had seen was the mini malestrom, this is the wrong waterfall! Instead you'll go to 56.26 and you'll be facing the right path up to the Vile Grell(For the corrupted source as well). Hope this helps!
57.31 is the actual cordinates. The cave is hidden behind a small waterfall. When you get to some metal crates you are really close.

What to do
Description
<Some unintelligible speech spews forth from the machine before you make out Wizbang's voice again.> Duskrats! They've been eating the duskrats! Those little buggers only come from one place, a cave against the cliff-face to the east. Find a path up to the northeast and look for an opening under the waterfall. The duskrats there are either getting into something nasty or someone's intentionally spreading some agent through them - in either case, just bring me back several samples of the stuff!

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Corruption's Source
I rushed here as soon as I heard the news from Wizbang. I know who's behind this mess now. Zenn Foulhoof. He came over from Teldrassil after he was chased out for performing perverse magics.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Lost Companion
Please help... I can barely sit up. My friend, a bear named Grimclaw, he's not here. I sent him ahead to let the Sentinels know we were coming before we left Auberdine, but he never arrived.
