This quest bugs out for me. The "Arrive in the Oasis" is not completing no matter how I go about it or how many times I retry. Hoping someone here knows a work-around to get it completed.

What to do
Description
I suppose you will be heading back now? It has been a true joy to work with you, apprentice. I hope we will see each other soon. I'll have some new experiments for you to help me out with. Please do take care of the necrorays! I hope they enjoy their new home.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Same thing. Dropped quest, tried it again, dropped it again, turned on pvp mode, still nada.... it will not complete. ----- Got it to complete by completing a timewalking queue right in front of the mob.

If these rays are to travel, we should inoculate them first. What a good opportunity for you to learn about administering anti-plague, apprentice! It's not something that happens here very often.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Cultured Palette
We're trying to figure out what these rays eat. I've gathered some options. Can ye put them out? I'll watch for responses.
