TheWoWDBA quick way to do this is to go to the current Suffusion (Fyrakk) Camp and kill the Forgemaster repeatedly. It drops around 47 essences per kill and people are constantly spawning and killing him. After around 10 kills you'll be done.

Aye, the stormrook is beginning to take a liking to us. But the bond between rider and gryphon is forged over many trials. Ye may have the spirit of the storm, but let's show how ye mastered it. Time to really prove yer mettle in battle.
