All of the Drakewatcher Manuscripts can be obtained from [npc=185561] after completing this quest. So choose the one you want most, but you'll be able to get all of them eventually.

So if you buy all three manuscripts before talking to Kaestrasz, then this quest apparently disappears.

Not a problem for most, unless you have aggressive quest tracking addons...

Interesting observation, unknown if other renown quests behave similarly. Hitting Valdrakken Renown 9 awards the perk Drakewatcher Manuscripts I. [npc=185561] is then supposed to have this quest which offers 3 dragon customizations, reduced by the number you have previously gotten from either the quest reward or purchase. I took an alt over to get the quest, but was not offered it. I checked and realized this was toon 4 to hit this renown. Then I checked what was offered for sale, and 1 of the 3 customizations was still available. So I got on toon 3 to hit this renown and they had the quest available so was able to get it for free.

So, my interpretation is that the game assigns this quest to the 1st three to hit the renown and then does not offer to subsequent toons. Seems like a really odd design choice. For consistency's sake, why not offer the quest to all with gold or supplies reward once all the customizations have been received. Makes me wonder what's happening with other cosmetic renown quests. I do have a situation for another alt where they were not offered a renown quest and I've been trying to figure out what trigger I missed. However, looking at the rewards that are left, they are cosmetic weapons and her class can't learn any of them so assume that's why it wasn't offered. What's worse, its a breadcrumb to the garden quests and not offering it makes doing those quests less likely to get done.
